I expected to find a few plates and utensils but instead to my surprise there were cookie sheets, mixing bowls, an electric skillet, a toaster oven, and the list goes on and on. Being able to "eat in" at Chestnut Oak Lodge saved us a lot of time and money, allowing us the opportunity and funds we needed to be able to zip-line at Bryce and tube down the Shenandoah River. The booking process was really simple and easy to follow and all the instructions on the travel itinerary. We stayed in your house for four nights and I was very much surprised to see everything you have in your home for all ages. The pricing is affordable and I was amazed to see collection of books you have in your basement library. It contains wide range of subjects from computer networking to philosophy of life. A great book I have come across based on principles of Bible is "purpose driven" If you can do something about flies roaming around out side it will be great, but it is a natural environment. Weekend Oasis is a very cozy and comfortable home where I find an opportunity to speak with my true self in serene and silent environment of blue mountains. I will greatly recommend to my friends and families to stay at blue mountain oasis."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Virginia. The scenery is very attractive with very quiet roads to travel. Many thanks for the use of your condo which was very clean on arrival. It gave us such a good comfortable base to see the area. Also it gave us a restful peaceful haven to return to in the evening. The deck in early morning and evening time was very welcome. We love to sit outdoors and the birds were in good voice. After the daytime heat we also welcomed the surprising coolness inside. Luray Caverns complex is among the best we have seen in the world. We have now seen the sights of both the War of Independence and the Civil War from north to south and even learned some of our own history. We did get a bit of ragging in Williamsburg even though we live only a few miles from George Washington's ancestral home. Once again many thanks for making us so welcome."

The one suggestion I could make is to have a journal or log for guests to sign in and write where they are from and comments about their stay. Town was easy to find and had everything we needed with the exception of a sports bar to watch the VA Tech game. We ended up going to Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill to watch the game. It was a bit of a drive, but very much worth it. The food was great as well as the beer selection and atmosphere. We will definately come back to this location in the future."

Everything was great! My son , my niece and I had a wonderful time. They enjoyed the different types of skiing, while I rested. The condo was nice. The area was beautiful and it snowed , which made everything perfect. Again I say thank you and I am sure I will return again. The light in the bedroom blow. I did not change the bulb, because , I did not want to break anything. I brought some bulbs and left them under the cabinet in front of the stove. Thank yo so very much!

We had a lovely time at the condo this weekend. It was as quiet as you said, and that made it blissful for me. Gabriel and Hamid had a wonderful time at the resort and Baxter and I had a good time on the trails. I want to thank you in particular for not padding the fee, I was really disgusted at some of the 'pet friendly' places that charged an extra $35 a day, etc. That would have put it way out of our budget and it was crucial that Baxter be able to come with us. Well, it was to me anyhow,lol. Hamid and I want to come back in the Spring and Gabriel has decided he's going back during the Summer, so we'll be in touch.

Hi Jason - We really needed to get away, and can't leave our elderly dog with anyone else, so the condo was perfect - as I wrote in the guest book, we did some walking, napping (I tried fishing), and antiquing, etc. Andy's family used to own a house off of Fairway Drive, and we miss being able to get away from it all. This weekend brought back some memories and this weekend arrangement makes for a perfect long weekend. Thanks again!

"Hi Jason, We got back from our vacation a little while ago, and it was amazing. We were able to have the pleasure of staying in two of your houses, and they were both wonderful. Bryce Condo was very cozy and comfortable, being close to many attractions. We found our stay very interesting. There were numerous activities in the area, so we were never bored. It was also very quiet, which was a new and strange experience for us, being from New York City. Blue Mountain Oasis was beautiful. It gave us just the right amount of privacy. It was extremely relaxing. We loved that the house had everything in it to keep us entertained. The property was beautiful and spacious.
